Born and raised in Monmouth County, N.J. Doug graduated from Johnson & Wales, Providence, R.I. in 1992. His career experience in the hospitality industry includes hotels (Hilton), private schools, summer camps, specialty restaurants, country clubs and an Italian restaurant as Executive Chef.
For the past two years, before relocating to Sarasota, Doug was employed as sous chef at the Islander Guy Harvey resort in Islamorada, Fl. He is very excited about being part of the Englewood Elks family. Doug states together, with hard work, dedication and communication, we can make a great club even better! Creating delicious meals and making sure members and guests are truly happy and satisfied is his passion.
